Nevermore Lampedusa

En la superficie del mar flotan zapatos de niños, botellas de agua vacías y vestidos. Son señales de la tragedia más grande que recuerden las aguas de la pequeña isla italiana de Lampedusa, a medio camino entre Sicilia y Túnez. Al menos 133 inmigrantes han muerto y unos 250 se encuentran desaparecidos, tras el naufragio de la barcaza en la que viajaban con la esperanza de alcanzar Europa. Se embarcaron en la costa africana con 500 personas, según contaron los sobrevivientes, por lo que las autoridades temen que el número de fallecidos aumente hasta los 300.
